The Main Bar |

The Main Bar features a long leaner parallel to the bar which is a popular spot for our 'regulars'. from there you can view the big screen flat TV opposite the entry door as well as another large screen on the north wall. From the leaner, tables spread outwards towards the pokies. The essence is on casual dining and imbibing. We will reserve for you. Entertainment is often provided from a platform under the pokie jackpot sign and colour spotlights are installed to assist. Heating is provided by a gas fire opening both sides and situated handy to entrance door, for welcoming heat as you enter. Cableways has a flat easy access entrance, particularly suited to elderly folk. Wheelchair access is superb. |

The Snug Bar |

The Snug Bar is used not only as an early evening refreshment option for business punters after a day's work, but also as a more private area for patrons to dine. It can comfortably seat up to 20 and is a popular area for customers to reserve. It now has a leaner, proving popular with punters who prefer to stand. Also a flat screen TV has recently been installed between the dartboards affording much easier viewing than the previous TV. Bottled European beer is a feature in the Snug chiller-options available at present are: Peroni, Pilsner Urquell, Budvar and Becks. These beers will soon be listed on a 'Specialist Beers' card which will change from time to time. Above the bar is a panoramic photo of Kaikorai taken around 1900-proving popular with patrons who have lived in the area in the past and enabling them to identify the house they grew up in. |

The Tramshed Bistro |
The Tramshed Bistro is the hub of the Cableways bar. A great menu at a great price serves almost all customers' eating desires and children are welcome, with their own menu available. We do not serve to the table-our Bistro style is to order and pay at the servery, receive a diner number and then listen, view, the diner number to confirm when your meal is ready. Then uplift, return to table and enjoy. When not busy, which isn't very often, we encourage staff in the Bistro and at the bar to serve the meals to the table. Coffee is available from a machine near the servery. Very adequate, with flat whites, cappuchinos etc. A specials board is an important component-allowing our regular customers the choice of other options from a familiar menu. |

The Terminus is a popular more private area for dining at Cableways. It can comfortably seat up to 30 patrons in a formal setting.
Close by is Cableways Pokies, with 18 machines(aristocrat, IGT and Williams) all proving popular with the punters. The machines are updated regularly by the Bendigo Valley Trust-a local Trust with local trustees who pride themselves in ensuring that any funds available are returned to our local community. |
